Queen's Golden Jubilee Garden Party 2012

A Jubilee Garden Party was held in August for PLSC members, with families travelling from as far afield as Scotland and Worcester to join in the celebrations.

The PLSC committee had provided a ‘bring & eat buffet’ along with cream teas and a few alcoholic beverages to toast her Majesty! A brilliantly decorated cake was brought along by Rebecca Goddard, and no-one wanted to eat the PON on top!

Jane Lindley had put together some ‘Top Training Tips’ for those wanting to try their hand at showing, and others just wanting a well-behaved companion.

The weather turned out far better than we could have hoped, so most of the afternoon was spent in the orchard taking turns with the PONs on the agility course, set up especially for the occasion.

Later on a fancy dress parade was held and a PON Prince and Princess were chosen.

The day was so enjoyable that 7 hours later, there were still some folk not wanting to go home!
